Thales Leites was really shocked when he learned he was being dropped by the Ultimate Fighting Championship only four months after competing for the middleweight title.It turns out, though, that Leites still has a job with the UFC.UFC president Dana White wasn't aware of plans to drop Leitis and said he would reverse those decisions.
We all know what happened with Leitis against Anderson Silva but even with that boring, as all hell, fight, he's still one of the best submission specialists in the game. Frankly, after seeing the Leitis vs Sakara fight, I was surprised he lost. I'd love to see Leitis vs Maia. Two BJJ specialist go at it is almost like watching ballet.
White said he will be brought back to the UFC.
