I've made it clear how exited I am for this fight but knowing that Carwin hates Lesnar only makes it more exiting. Carwin has expressed his dislike for Lesnar in past statements and now that he will fight him, here's what he had to say regarding his comments:"I think hate is a strong word, but yeah, I hate what he did after UFC 100," Carwin said, "I hate that he disrespected the greatest sporting fans in the world and I can't wait to fight him. ... Really it comes down to respect and I do not think that he respects the sport or the fans of this sport. He may be well known, but fame does not equal respect."
It almost seems as though Lesnar has created a reputation for himself but not in a positive way. Considering that whatever reason he's fighting in MMA, it's working and that just gets under the skin of Carwin and many other fighters who have a passion for MMA and have trained there whole lives. Aside from his own team, who in MMA respects Lesnar? I know Dana White says he does but we all know its only because he sells tickets.
Hopefully Carwin takes this. I have my money on Carwin.
