Matt :The Law" Lindland (21-6), mixed martial arts veteran and Olympic silver medalist in Greco-Roman Wrestling (2000) has signed a 3 fight contract with Strikeforce. MMAmania.com confirmed the signing from Strikeforce officials Aug 14, 2009. Lindand last fought for the Affliction: Day of Reckoning pay per view where he was unfortunately suffered a brutal knock out by Vitor Belfort in just 37 seconds. Lindland has won 3 of his last 6 fights and is looking to get back on the winners circle hopefully by Oct 2009. Lindland was widely considered at one time to be a top 10 middleweight. He holds victories over Jeremy Horn, Ricardo Almeida, Phil Baroni, Travis Lutter and others in his 11 years as a professional mixed martial artist.
